ReadMe Publishing – Poetry Winners Announced!

With over 350 well written poems the Everyday Musing poetry contest was extremely hard to judge. The contest involved a wide range of takes on the theme and forms including many structured styles, haiku, tanka and free form.

There were three rounds in the contest.

The first round cut the 350 down to 50 poems.

The second round cut the 50 poems down to 25 poems. The 25 poems that made it to this round will be included in the collection released this summer.

The third round picked the three winners. The prizes include:

Winning poem will be paid $50.00, Second place $25.00, Third Place $10.00. The top 25 poems will be published in a poetry collection to be published in June of 2009.
