For those of you on the popular social networking site Facebook, you have a new group to stop by and join ! Thanks to James Bowler, the Short Story Library now has a Facebook group located:

http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=67441838124

It is a great way to stay current with many writers who have contributed to the site or active members on our writing forum. The facebook site will also be updated with any news about our magazine and publishing arm ReadMe Publishing.

The more we can get our site out there, the more readers and traffic we get. Our goal as a publication is to provide a professional looking avenue for short story writers and poets to get their work some attention. More traffic means we are doing a better job and providing a better service to our writers. So thanks again James for building the site and anyone who helps pass the word.

In the two or three days we have had the site live in facebook we already have 25 members. So thanks to everyone who has joined, is planning on joining and has helped to put the word out there.

Who knows maybe in a few weeks we might even be on MySpace!

  2. Thanks Chris! Facebook seems like a pretty interesting networking tool. I will be interested to see how it works to help with traffic.
