Submit Your Writing Today For A Horror Writing Contest!

Short Story Library has announced a horror writing contest where the winners will be published in a print edition! Any form of short writing can be submitted for consideration up to 5000 words this includes poetry, microfiction, flash fiction and short stories. The theme of the short story writing contest is horror. There will be no entry or reading fee – this is a free writing contest!
If you are interested in submitting some of your horror writing to the writing contest, here are the guidelines!
Free Short Story Writing Contest Submission Guidelines
- Subject line should read Contest Entry – Title of Writing.
- Send to submit@shortstory.us.com
- Please note that by submitting your writing to the short story writing contest you will be giving shortstory.us.com first print rights and first anthology rights to your story.
- You need to hold the rights to the story at the time of submitting.
- We will take submissions for the contest between now and September 30th!
- If we do not choose your story for the print publication we may still use it for the free monthly online magazine.
