Short Story Library

Short Story Library is running their first free writing contest! Again let me say it again, FREE! No reading fee or entry fee, just plain old free! The horror writing contest is open to any piece of writing in the horror genre including:

• Poetry
• Micro Fiction
• Flash fiction
• Short Story

Basically, anything well written under 5000 words in the horror genre will be considered! The top stories will be published in a print edition that will be published later this year! The submissions have started to come in and we are pretty excited about what we have read so far. If you have a horror story to tell, please share and submit to the competition! The forum is running a micro fiction challenge where the winner will be published in the magazine – if you’re interested, join the forum and give it a try! Look for the SSL Challenge thread in the writing challenges section!
